Can I get an advance on Centrelink Only?

Unfortunately not. MyPayNow is designed to be a wage advance service, you need to be employed.
What identification documents do you accept?
+
Currently the system will only accept an open drivers licence, Medicare card or Australian passport. We cannot accept proof of age cards or a learners licence.
My last pay is missing or below the minimum requirement.

Unfortunately we cannot assist you until your most recent wage meets the minimum income requirement of $450.00 a week or $900.00 a fortnight.
Can I payout early to get another advance?

Unfortunately we do not currently allow you to pay out early to get another advance. We only allow you to take an advance once (up to your limit) per pay cycle. This way we are only providing you up to 25% of your income per pay cycle, in line with our policy.
Why can’t I get more than my approved limit?

MyPayNow offers up to 25% of your average income up to a limit of $750.00. We are unable to increase this.
What time do direct debits come out of my bank?

Our direct debits are processed by a third party, meaning they can be attempted at any point during the day.
My Account
What do I need to set up my account?

You will need:
- A mobile phone number
- An email address
- A valid form of Australian ID (e.g. Driver’s licence or passport)
- The date and amount of your last pay
- Your internet banking details
- The details of the bank account your pay goes into
How do I update my contact details?

You can update your contact details at any time by logging into MyPayNow and clicking on ‘MyProfile’ in the side menu
How long does it take to set up an account?
+
It takes about 5 minutes to set up your account. Once you’re set up, it only takes a minute for your advance to be transferred to your account
Can I have multiple accounts?
+
No, the system will only allow one account per user.
What happens if I need to change a payment date or amount?
+
You can’t change your current repayment date or amount as these are determined by the information you provided when you set up your account with us. If your circumstances have changed, please log in to your account and use the HELP option in the side-menu
Why do I need to enter my bank details again?

From time-to-time we will ask you for an updated bank statement. This is to ensure your salary information and employment details are up-to-date, so you can continue to use MyPayNow as you need to.
I have multiple bank accounts, which account should I connect?

You can only associate one bank account with your MyPayNow account. To use MyPayNow, you will need to ensure the bank account associated with your account with us is the account where most of your wage is deposited.
I want to change where my repayments come out of
+
Whilst you have a pending payment with us, you are unable to change your account details. Once your account has returned to a zero balance, simply log in and click on 'My Profile' to update your bank account details.
Can you deposit funds into a different account?

MyPayNow is an automated service, which means funds are only able to be deposited into the same account that your normal wage is paid into.
How can I disable my account?

Should you wish to temporarily disable your MyPayNow account, simply log in to your MyPayNow account and click on ‘Help’ in the side menu. Please note we can’t disable your account while you have an outstanding advance with us.

What is MyPayNow?

MyPayNow is a wage advance service that provides you with access to your pay in real time. We deal directly with you, without needing to involve your employer. We pride ourselves on providing you with fast, efficient, 24/7 service, with instant deposits on approved advances.
Why is my account locked?

Your account will be locked if you have missed a payment with us or if your salary has been deposited in your account within the last 24 hours.During this time, you will be unable to access further funds. Please log into your account for further information.
Is MyPayNow secure?

Yes! We use encryption and choose suppliers that hold the highest levels of security, just like your own bank would use.
What documents do I need to sign up with MyPayNow?

Signing up to MyPayNow is quick and easy. As MyPayNow is a fully automated service, our system will confirm your identity and bank account details electronically, without the need to upload any documents to our system.
To set up your account, all you will need is:

Why can’t I access all my wage?

MyPayNow is designed to provide you with a portion of your pay to help you make small purchases before you receive your next wage. We only lend a portion of your wage to you, to make sure you have enough money available to meet your other on-going financial obligations such as rent, groceries and utility bills. That way, you won’t get into trouble by taking out too much of your wage early.
I only work part-time and receive Centrelink, can I use your services?

Yes! If you have a regular income from an employer that is above the minimum wage requirement, you can access the benefits of using MyPayNow.
How much can I advance?

MyPayNow allows you to advance up to a quarter of your next wage. If you are a regular user of our service, you may be able to advance more of your wage in the future.
When do I pay back the advance?
+
Your advance will be debited from your account on the day of your next wage. You don’t need to lift a finger! You will then be able to request new advances through the MyPayNow app.
Why did you take multiple payments on the one day?
+
If you have received multiple advances during your wage cycle, each advance will be taken as a separate payment on the day you receive your next pay.
Who can use MyPayNow?

MyPayNow is designed for anyone 18+ that receives regular income from an employer. Unfortunately, if you aren’t employed, you will not be unable to use MyPayNow.
What is the minimum amount I need to earn before I can apply to MyPayNow?

The minimum income required to use MyPayNow is $450.00 take home per week.
How does it work?
How much can I get and how often?
+
You can request up to a quarter of your wage per pay cycle to a maximum of $750. At the end of each pay cycle, your advances will be repaid and you will then be able to make new advance requests. Just like an ATM, MyPayNow offers $10, $20, $50 or $100 amounts.
When can I get access to a wage advance?

As soon as you register with MyPayNow, you will be able to request up to a quarter of your next wage and take advantage of instant deposits. When your account with us returns to a zero balance on your next pay day, you will be able to use our service again to access your wages in real-time.
When will I receive my money?
+
MyPayNow offers instant deposits using the latest NPP payment technology. This means, your funds will clear instantly, 24/7! If in the unlikely event NPP is unavailable at the time of your request, we will inform you and process your advance as soon as possible.
How should I use MyPayNow?

That’s entirely up to you! These are wages earned by you, so use them for the things you need or want to. We’ve found it’s far cheaper to use our wage advance service than paying late fees on utility bills or getting a short-term loan. It’s also great for affording those unexpected things life tends to throw at you!
How come I can only access a percentage of my earned wage?
+
MyPayNow only allows you to access a quarter of your next wage to ensure you still have enough left over to afford your recurring financial obligations such as rent, groceries and utility bills. As you continue to use our service, you may be able to access a larger portion of your wage.
I have a joint account, can we both use MyPayNow?

No. For security reasons MyPayNow requires a unique bank account for each user.
Why do you need my bank details?
+
MyPayNow needs your bank account details to confirm that you are employed and receive a regular wage. Without this confirmation, we are unable to provide access to our service.
Can I request my wage advance on the weekend?
+
Yes! MyPayNow uses the NPP payments platform, which means you can receive funds 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If in the unlikely event NPP is unavailable at the time of your request, we will let you know and deposit your funds as soon as possible.
When will the repayments come out from my bank account?

MyPayNow sets up direct debits to coincide with the date of your next pay. If you have made multiple advances since your last pay, they will all be debited from your account on your next pay day. For example, if you advanced a total of $150 during your pay cycle, consisting of a $100 advance and a $50 advance, there will be two debits from your account on your next pay day - one for $105 and another for $52.50 (including our simple flat rate service charge of 5%).
What happens if I miss a payment?

If a payment is missed, you will receive a text message from MyPayNow to let you know. You will be able to use your debit card to make-up the missed payment, so you can keep using MyPayNow. If you can’t make a payment by card, the missed payment will be scheduled for your next pay day.
Can I advance my Centrelink payments?

No. To use MyPayNow, you must receive a minimum of $450 per week from an employer.
How do I pay back my wage advance?
+
When you register for MyPayNow, a direct debit agreement will be set-up, which will automatically debit your wage advance from your nominated bank account on your pay day.
What do you see when I provide my bank account?
+
We only receive information about your recent transactions. This information is used to ensure you meet the criteria for our service. To help us assess your suitability, you will need to log in to your bank account through our encrypted portal. MyPayNow never stores any of your log in information.
Costs
How much does MyPayNow cost?

MyPayNow charges a one-off flat-rate service charge of 5% of the advanced wage amount. For example, if you request an advance of $100, our charge is only $5.00.
What are the direct debit fees?

MyPayNow does not charge a direct debit fee.
How much do you charge for a missed payment?
+
$0! We do not charge any missed payment/dishonour fees.
Are there any hidden fees?

Why can’t I ring someone at MyPayNow?

To keep costs to a minimum, we have invested heavily in the latest technology to enable you to access your wages in real time. If your question hasn’t been answered here, please log in and use the ‘Help’ option in the side-menu.
How do I contact support?

Please log in to your MyPayNow account and use the ‘Help’ option in the side menu to submit a request. One of our friendly staff will respond ASAP.
I forgot my username, what do I do?

Your username is the email address you used to set up your account.
I forgot my password, what do I do?
+
On the login page you can use the ‘forgot password’ option to reset your password.
My bank is not in the drop-down list, what can I do?
+
Unfortunately, if your bank is not connected to MyPayNow, you won’t be able to access our service at this time.
Why can’t MyPayNow see my salary?

If you have entered your pay date or wage amount incorrectly during the account set up, MyPayNow may not be able to see your salary. Please be sure to provide accurate information, so you can access the benefits of MyPayNow!
What if I can’t make a payment?

If you find yourself unable to meet your next payment, please reach out to us via the ‘Help’ option in the side-menu of the MyPayNow app.
I have lost my job, what do I do?

Life happens. If your circumstances change, please log in to your MyPayNow account and contact us via the ‘Help’ option. One of our friendly team members will be in touch to assist you.
Why would I be declined?

There are a number of reasons you may be unable to use MyPayNow. These include:

Does MyPayNow do a credit check?

No, there is no credit enquiry made on your file if you choose to use MyPayNow.
Does MyPayNow contact my employer?
+
No, it is not necessary to contact your employer to use MyPayNow.
Can I send my bank statements via email or fax?

No. Our system is fully automated, meaning we are unable to receive or use bank statements outside of the MyPayNow app. To register for an account, simply follow the steps in the MyPayNow app - it’s quick and easy!
Can MyPayNow see my bank account login details

No. MyPayNow only has access to read your bank statement. We don’t have access to your login details.
Where can I leave feedback?

What happens if I am on annual leave?

To continue using MyPayNow when you are on annual leave, you must still be receiving your regular wage.
What if I am in between jobs?

To use MyPayNow, you must be employed and receiving a minimum of $450 per week in wages. Unfortunately, if you are currently unemployed, you will be unable to use MyPayNow.
